Maulana Tahseen Raza Khan became a disciple of Hazrat Mufti-e-Aazam in the age of 13 with the permission of his father on the occasion of Urs-e-Razvi in 1943 Hazrat Mufti-e-A'azam conferred him Khilafa'h & Ijaza'h (Caliphate and Permission) on 25th Safar 1390 A.H (1970 A.D, on the occasion of Urs-e-Razvi) in the presence of Prominent Ulama.
MUFTI-E-A'AZAM'S IMPRESSION ABOUT SADR-UL-ULAMA :
Once Mufti-e-A'azam said, "All sons of Sahab (Hazrat Maulana Hasnain Raza Khan Rahmat-Ullah-Alaih) are good and learned but Maulana Tahseen Raza Khan is matchless." On another occasion Mufti-e-A'azam also said, "There are two such persons who are reliable in my eyes. One is Tahseen Raza (Maulana) and another is Akhtar Mian (Allama Akhtar Raza Khan Azhari).
On another occasion too mufti-e-A'azam said to Maulana Habeeb Raza Kha, "Tahseen Raza (Maulana) is 'Gul-e-Sarsabd' (Choicest flower).
